Design requirements of energy saving control for air conditioning system of public buildings

Analyses the basic relationship between operation and energy consumption for air conditioning system, and concludes that the key factors for energy saving are to reduce the load demand, to improve operational efficiency and to reduce operating time. The main control manners for HVAC equipment are local manual control, remote manual control and automatic control. In consideration of management convenience and energy optimization, recommends the direct digital control system for large public buildings. Presents the design requirements of energy saving control for boiler rooms, heat exchanger rooms, cold and heat source equipment rooms and all-air HVAC systems, which are required by GB 50189-2015 Design standard for energy efficiency of public buildings, as well as the relevant requirements for monitoring and metering.
